The Blue Line
a show by artist Wendy Sheasby

The “Blue Line” exhibit is of dramatic falls, water, rocks and flowers. The painting above is of the Adirondack Mountains as you’re leaving the Catskills, around the Lake George area known as the Blue Line.  You can see the Great Range off in the distance, famous for its high peaks.

Wendy is from the Adirondacks and now lives in Rhinebeck. She is very familiar with the vertical slopes and cascading falls, enabling her to paint a surprising amount from memory and from imagination.
