I am focused on sheep as subjects now, so offer my past work as balance. In my early black and white work, I hired models to explore the correspondences between the human and other natural forms. In the digital age, I became more interested in pattern, repetition, rhythm and structure in scenes than in representational documentation.

I hit upon “photo collage' as a way of satisfying my need to control reality. So I print photos in different sizes—then cut, play, and when satisfied, paste on paper backing, I then scan these pieces and edit on the computer for color, light, and definition. The resulting print is the final work. It is a long process, but gives me the possibility of making copies. I can therefore offer *affordable beauty.*

And our annual "Off The Wall" event!

Throughout May we will hold our once yearly special event where member artists offer unframed flat works, including prints, Giclees and original work on paper or panel, in addition to their wall installations. This is the perfect opportunity for art buyers who prefer to handle their own framing (and there will be some great deals)!
