Joanne Cuttler is a watercolor painter who earned her BA in studio art at Bard College and has also studied in NYC--at the Art Students League, School of Visual Arts, and Parsons School of Design, among others. Her process usually begins with her interest in a challenging subject. Recently she has been drawn to the doorways and storefronts of New York City and Provincetown, MA. "The architectural detail on the older buildings is fascinating. With so many of the older places disappearing, it is my artist's contribution to preserving the history of these charming and beautiful buildings.”
