In the show “Varieties of Experience“ (a nod to William James’ book “Varieties of Religious Experience”), Vera shares her work in oil, acrylic, and mixed media incorporating textiles. For her, the canvas is a dream catcher as her work is an exploration of unconscious impulses. She often chooses to deflect her attention to audio fiction so as to be surprised by what appears on the canvas -- the process is relaxing and playful. Her work is often layered with texture, patterns and color.

When working on commissions, she enjoys fulfilling her clients’ desire for art that enhances their personal space with colors, patterns, and themes that appeal.
