Bill Jacobs

Bill Jacobs is a film photographer who carries his Nikon F100 wherever he goes.

His subjects are eclectic—primarily florals, architecture, and nature. He sometimes hand-tints black-and-white photographs, leaving a section of the photo uncolored. He also has a technique he refers to as "diffusion photography" that gives a painterly quality to some of his images. "We all experience life visually," he says. "However, what we actually see is interpreted differently by each of us. I create images of things that have moved me throughout my life's journey."
