KP Devlin
In addition to having a successful career as a songwriter and a musician, KP Devlin is an oil painter whose vivid imagination conjures mythical landscapes and whimsical creatures. Influences include artists, storytellers, and filmmakers ranging from Maurice Sendak to Salvador Dali to David Lynch as well as his father, a man of science, who taught him astronomy and paleontology, instilling a deep sense of wonder about the cosmos. "I let the images spill out initially without engaging in a heavy thought process. But as the painting develops, I strive to find the perfect balance of humor and horror."
