Silvana’s newest group of paintings offers images of specific locations and environments where she experiences a strong emotional connection.  
These landscape paintings depict local places that she returns to repeatedly because she finds them so pleasing or comforting. They have a certain quality - perhaps a subtle beauty. Some evoke memories from prior visits.
She hopes to capture and share with the viewer that certain something, that elusive Sense of Place.
